Privacy Notice

Our approach

Cove is designed to help intended parents, surrogates, egg donors, and sperm donors move through family-building journeys in one place. This notice explains what information we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

  • Account details, such as your name, email address, role, and sign-in information.
  • Application and profile information you choose to provide.
  • Photos, videos, documents, and other files you upload.
  • Journey activity, including messages, decisions, appointments, and progress.
  • Technical information needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
  • Payment and subscription status when paid Cove features are activated.

How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, review applications, build approved profiles, support matching and introductions, coordinate journey steps, process subscriptions, send service notices, prevent misuse, and improve Cove. We do not sell personal information.

Profile visibility and sharing

Information is shown according to a person’s role and the stage of their journey. Public or limited profile views are intentionally separated from private application and screening details. We may share information with authorized participants and service providers when needed to deliver Cove, or when required by law. Cove does not make a person’s full contact details visible to another participant unless the workflow and permissions allow it.

Cove email updates

If you request product updates, we store your email, selected role, signup source, and consent and confirmation dates separately from applications. We send a confirmation email before adding you to the updates list. Each updates email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing from product updates does not stop important account, application, or meeting notifications.

We use short-lived, hashed network identifiers and sending limits to reduce spam. Unconfirmed signup requests are removed after 30 days by our delivery maintenance process. We retain unsubscribe and delivery-blocking records to honor your preferences. Contact us if you want to request deletion.

Service providers

Cove uses trusted providers for hosting, authentication, file storage, payments, email, maps, and scheduling. These may include Supabase, Google, and Stripe. Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy commitments. Signing in with Google gives Cove basic identity information such as your name and email; Cove does not receive your Google password.

Security and retention

We use access controls, role-based permissions, encrypted connections, and operational safeguards intended to protect information. No online system can promise absolute security. We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal and operational obligations, resolve disputes, and protect Cove and its users.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information, subject to legal and operational retention requirements. You can also stop using Google sign-in by removing Cove’s access in your Google Account. To make a privacy request, email info@covefertility.com.

Children and changes

Cove is not intended for people under 18. We may update this notice as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected here and, when appropriate, communicated to account holders.
